Please note, the timings of the classes have changed. The Junior class has come forward by 1/2 Hour to 9.45, as has the older class, which now starts at 10.30 and has lengthened to 1 1/2 hours. The Adults only class has been discontinued, but adults are welcome to join the 10.30 class</text>

On Saturday 3 July, the club demonstrated some judo at the Fortismere school fair. There was a lot of interest and everyone was impressed with some spectacular throws.

    <title>New World Cup promotional clip launched</title>

  	  <text>British Judo has launched a promotional clip for the 2009 GB World Cup for men and women.  The advert, now playing on the BJA website, was produced by Fighting Films, and contains exciting footage from the last three World Cup events. </text>
	  <text>Tickets for the event that will take place at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena on the 19th &amp; 20th September, are available from the Ticket Factory on 0844 3388000. Tickets are priced &#163;14 per adult per day and &#163;6 per child/senior citizen per day.</text>
	  <text>Remember it is double the action this year. The first ever to feature both men and women, it will be the biggest ever held in Britain. There will also be lots of action off the mat for spectators including the chance to meet Olympic gold medallist and three times World Champion Kosei Inoue - arguably the greatest judoka of the last 10 years. Inoue, a guest of honour at the tournament, will be conducting autograph signing sessions on both days on the concourse.</text>
